Public Confession
Though our sins are great, O God, Your grace is greater.
Though our flesh is weak, Your strength is perfected in our weakness.
Have mercy on us, dear Lord, for we so easily lose our way.
Forgive our transgressions and make us a people filled with joy.
Forgive our errors in judgment and quickness to believe a bad report.
Forgive our hastily spoken words and slowness to seek peace.
Forgive our selfishness and expressions of pride.
Forgive our lack of compassion and neglect of duty.
O Lord, create in us clean hearts,
And cause us to hunger for righteousness in all things.
We make this confession in the confidence that is ours in Christ Jesus.
Glorify His holy name in us, we pray.
Words of Assurance Matthew 5:14-16
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”

Praise God from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heav'nly host:
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Amen.
*Declaring Our Faith Westminster Confession (The Last Judgment)
What is the destiny of the righteous following the last judgment?
The righteous shall go into everlasting life and receive that fullness of joy and refreshing, which shall come from the presence of the Lord.
What is the destiny of the righteous following the last judgment?
The wicked who know not God, and obey not the Gospel of Jesus Christ, shall be cast into eternal torments, and be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power.
Is the time of the last judgment known to us?
As Christ would have us to be certainly persuaded that there shall be a day of judgment, both to deter all men from sin and for the greater consolation of the godly in their adversity, so will He have that day unknown to men that they may shake off all carnal security and be always watchful, because they know not at what hour the Lord will come; and may be ever prepared to say, Come Lord Jesus, come quickly, Amen.
Pastoral Prayer
*Responsive Reading Proverbs 6:12-19
A worthless person, a wicked man, is the one who walks with a perverse mouth,
Who winks with his eyes, who signals with his feet, who points with his fingers;
Who with perversity in his heart continually devises evil,
Who spreads strife.
Therefore his calamity will come suddenly;
Instantly he will be broken and there will be no healing.
There are six things which the Lord hates,
Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him:
Haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
And hands that shed innocent blood,
A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that run rapidly to evil,
A false witness who utters lies,
And one who spreads strife among brothers.
