Apostolic Greeting
*Call to Worship Psalm 37:7-9
Minister: Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him;
Congregation: Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who carries out wicked schemes.
Minister: Cease from anger and forsake wrath;
Congregation: Do not fret; it leads only to evildoing.
Minister: For evildoers will be cut off,
Congregation: But those who wait for the Lord, they will inherit the land.

O Worship the King No. 2
Public Confession
For what we have received from You, O God, we are most grateful. Your goodness to us is unfailing all the days of our lives. Even when we sin, You remain faithful and true. We are eager, therefore, to honor You by making this confession of our transgressions.
Forgive our bitterness, harsh words, angry declarations, and thoughtless conclusions. Teach us instead to use our words to honor You and edify one another.
Forgive our selfishness, deception, boasting, and complacency. By Your Spirit, create in us thankful and generous hearts; fill us with compassion, humility, and zeal for the truth.
We ask this in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Words of Assurance John 14:1-3
“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.”

Prayer for the Tithe and Offerings
Collection of the Tithe and Offerings
*Doxology No. 731
Praise God from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heav’nly host:
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Amen.
*Declaring Our Faith The Larger Catechism (10, 11)
What are the personal properties of the three persons in the Godhead?
It is proper to the Father to beget the Son, and to the Son to be begotten of the Father, and to the Holy Ghost to proceed from the Father and the Son from all eternity.
How does it appear that the Son and the Holy Ghost are God equal with the Father?
The Scriptures manifest that the Son and the Holy Ghost are God equal with the Father, ascribing unto them such names, attributes, works, and worship, as are proper to God only.
Pastoral Prayer
*Responsive Reading Proverbs 8:12-21
I, wisdom, dwell with prudence,
And I find knowledge and discretion.
The fear of the Lord is to hate evil;
Pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverted mouth, I hate.
Counsel is mine and sound wisdom;
I am understanding, power is mine.
By me kings reign, and rulers decree justice.
By me princes rule, and nobles, all who judge rightly.
I love those who love me; and those who diligently seek me will find me.
Riches and honor are with me, enduring wealth and righteousness.
My fruit is better than gold, even pure gold,
And my yield better than choicest silver.
I walk in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of justice,
To endow those who love me with wealth, that I may fill their treasuries.
