God has gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
For God is the King of all the earth; sing praises with a psalm! (Psalms 47.5–7)

Public Confession From Psalms 38 & 69

O Lord, do not rebuke me in Your wrath nor chasten me in your hot displeasure! For Your arrows pierce me deeply and Your hand presses me down.
There is no soundness in my flesh because of Your anger nor any health in my bones because of my sin. For my iniquities have gone over my head, like a heavy burden they are too heavy for me. My wounds are foul and festering because of my foolishness. O God, You know my foolishness and my sins are not hidden from You.
