*Call to Worship Psalm 99:1-3
The Lord reigns, let the peoples tremble; He is enthroned above the cherubim, let the earth shake! The Lord is great in Zion, and He is exalted above all the peoples. Let them praise Your great and awesome name; holy is He.

Glory be to the Father,
And to the Son,
And to the Holy Ghost;

Public Confession
As Your people, called to be holy, we confess that we have sinned against Your Word. We have sinned in our talk and have not always spoken with thoughtfulness and restraint. We have sinned in our plans and have not always considered how we might bless the lives of others before ourselves.
We have not given sufficient time to our callings and have failed to use what You have given in the most honorable ways. As Your people, we know we have a duty to confess these transgressions and ask You to pardon all our sins.
We know we fall short of Your standard, yet we also know we have a Savior who has met that mark for us. For His sake, O God, forgive us now. And for His glory, enable us to walk rightly before You all our days.
Words of Assurance Titus 3:4-7
When the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

*Doxology No. 731
Praise God from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heav’nly host:
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Amen.
*Declaring Our Faith Westminster Confession (The Magistrate)
What is the role of the civil magistrate?
God, the supreme Lord and King of all the world, has ordained civil magistrates to be, under Him, over the people, for His own glory, and the public good; and, to this end, has armed them with the power of the sword, for the defense and encouragement of them that are good, and for the punishment of evildoers.
How does the civil magistrate assist the Church?
Civil magistrates may not assume to themselves the administration of the Word and sacraments, or the power of the keys of the kingdom of heaven; yet he has authority, and it is his duty, to take order that unity and peace be preserved in the Church, that the truth of God be kept pure and entire, that all blasphemies and heresies be suppressed, all corruptions and abuses in worship and discipline prevented or reformed, and all the ordinances of God duly settled, administrated, and observed.
Pastoral Prayer
*Responsive Reading Psalm 20
May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble!
May the name of the God of Jacob set you securely on high!
May He send you help from the sanctuary
And support you from Zion!
May He remember all your meal offerings
And find your burnt offering acceptable!
May He grant you your heart’s desire
And fulfill all your counsel!
We will sing for joy over your victory, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners.
May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.
Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed;
He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand.
Some boast in chariots and some in horses, but we will boast in the name of the Lord, our God.
They have bowed down and fallen, but we have risen and stood upright.
Save, O Lord;
May the King answer us in the day we call.
